I’m so thankful for photos that we can relive moments like the dearKindred Fashion Show. I can’t even begin to explain how humbled I am and almost left speechless! To see a community come together to give back is such a beautiful thing. I think the photos do more justice than words but you know me, I still have a little bit to say.
For those of you that don’t know, the Grand Forks Women’s Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit that specializes in unplanned pregnancy and sexual health. They provide services to a large demographic of women and families including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds & education. The dearKindred Fashion Show raised supplies for the Earn While You Learn program, where moms can collect points from educational courses that can be spent at the center’s boutique on items for their baby. We were able to completely restock their boutique from the show and that is just incredible!!!

Of course me being my own worst critic, I was already thinking of things I could have done better or differently when the confetti blew and the show was complete. But. The whole reason I put this together blew my expectations out the water! To completely be able to restock their boutique – WOW! Praise God! That demographic is near and dear to my heart and I am forever grateful for my sponsors, community, friends & family who helped make this idea come to life.
The runway was more stunning than I imagined (even after a few last minute blips in my plans), the models were top notch, the goodies were delicious & the confetti finale completed the whole night! I can’t thank everyone enough. When I started to calculate this whole event I truly had no idea what I was doing. For some reason a little voice inside my head told me to keep going and doors kept opening, opportunities arose, connections were made and I just knew this is what I was supposed to be doing. I’ve never created an event like this (besides my wedding), and I am no event planner but WOW it was fun! To see and hear the excitement from the people involved was thrilling.
As a community (and by community I mean people) we can do GREAT things together. Through blogging I’ve seen that front row. When a creative team comes together – magic is made. I have to give a HUGE Thank You to all my sponsors for making this show possible! Definitely check them out!

And thank you to my family and close friends for helping prepare from day one (it took a village) and of course my husband for always letting this heart dream big!
If you know me well, you know I am already wracking my brain for my next project!
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you.
